Tara residents cry out over bad roads
No councilor at LCIII level nor at district level has talked about the four kilo metre Tara -Yumbe road off from Tara health centre.
The road is in deplorable state and indeed any passerby on the road can accept the complain of the residents of Olua village Pajama parish Tara sub/county lamenting the deplorable state of the road.
Anguti, a resident of the area"As you can see, this is what we are facing here, no one has looked at the area".
Another resident,  Magara James noted that the  road maintenance is the duty of local council and wondered why local government has neglected the road and said they are looking for somebody to talk to the LCV chairman of Maracha district about the poor state of the road.
Mr. Berenge another resident complained that the people of Olua village are also human beings existing in Maracha district and those elected leaders should know that people of Olua village also participated in electing  them into positions they are currently holding with their heads up.
He requested them to deliver on their promises without marginalization and road maintenance is part of the way they can  give back to the voters.
"We don't need money from them, we simply need them to work in our road", he reiterated.
In his reaction, another resident said, “It seems the leaders are happy about the condition of the road and if  it is happiness to them , for us  the residents of Olua village we are not happy and there is no need to sugar-coat the issue; the road  has been neglected.
"Have they neglected it because it borders Yumbe district?, He asked?
The residents have no any other words apart from  calling on the local government to do the needful by not forgetting the road as if it is not in Maracha district, the road simply connects Maracha to Yumbe district and it doesn't mean that it is in Yumbe district.
