NEARLY  12  years ago, Tulay Yilmazturk left working with Turkish Airlines and decided to establish her tour company (OZZYGROUP Travel),  a business career that  has made her a globally recognized in tourism secitor and she spoke to Today Africa News  about her business.

Today Africanews (TAN) it’s exciting to meet you  (Tulay Yilmazturk),  you have so many  things 
and to start  with can you tell me a ittle about your background and how you got into tourism?

Tulay Yilmazturk: I llive in Kusadasi, which is on the Aegean Coast in the West of Turkey. Before opening my own agency, I was working at Turkish Airlines. After leaving my job here, I worked in a travel agency for a while.

Today Africanews (TAN) before starting your company how were you earning an income, and support the livelihood of your family?

Tulay Yilmazturk: I opened my own agency in 2011 because I believed that I could accomplish many things as a woman for the family.
Today Africanews (TAN), what drove your desire to establish this company ?

Tulay Yilmazturk:  I have been serving as DMC in the tourism sector for 12 years and Ozzygroup Travel has a respected name in the tourism sector due to the good service we provide.

Today Africanews (TAN) your company seems to be  attracting travellers all over the world , what is special with your company?

Tulay Yilmazturk:  My agency serves inbound both  and outbound. In our Turkey programs, we start our tours from Istanbul and then Cappadocia, Antalya, Kusadasi, Ephesus Ancient City and the House of Virgin Mary, Pamukkale. 

We also prepare our tour programs according to the demands of the agencies we serve. The countries we serve are Latin America, America, India, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, South Africa, England, and Spain.

Today Africanews (TAN):  Do you provide special incentives to your travellers ?

Tulay Yilmazturk:  We offer our clients who have traveled with us before a 5% to 10% discount on their next trip. We also offer a 5% discount for those who bring 5 friends with them.

We organize mice, incentive, leisure, wedding and wedding organizations, festivals and concerts. We are organizing commercial b2b with African countries apart from holidays. We provide connections for those who want to invest in African countries from Turkey or do business in the market.

Today Africanews (TAN):  Are there some women  like you who are  passionate about tourism business ?

Tulay Yilmazturk:  My  friend Yaprak Gurdal, who is a tourism writer and blogger (the name of her blog page is kucukdunya.com and her instagram account is kucukdunyayaprak) and she is  promoting all the countries we visit with the invitation of tourism offices.

Today Africanews (TAN): What advice can you give to other women concerning tourism business?

Tulay Yilmazturk, if a woman wants, she can do anything and be successful. I am happy and proud to be one of those women.
